Mediation Business Development Support for CAOS-trained Practitioners
CAOS assists Practitioners with Mediation Business Development through a range of different means, some of which are listed below.
We offer networking meetings of CAOS-trained Mediators and Conflict Coaches to explore and develop new, effective approaches to 'spreading the word' about the work that we do.
Our next meeting is on Monday 21st January 2019 from 10am - 4.30pm in West London
Attendance fee: £60 or £48 for Support Scheme Subscribers
These meetings include:
- A sharing of present experience in order to learn from each other - what works and what doesn't within any given context of providing mediation. (There will, of course be different considerations depending on the area in which mediation is being offered - to individuals, to organisations, within family difficulties, in workplace difficulties etc.)
- An exploration of marketing approaches - social media, website, local networking, presentations, CAOS webpage (see below).
- Business Development - How do you communicate what you do and to whom?
- Organisational mediation business development - what do you put in your tender bids? How do you go about introducing mediation to potential organisational clients?
- Pricing: How do you decide the correct approach to this?
- How do you distinguish your offering from other mediation providers?
- How do you overcome misunderstandings or assumptions about mediation when approaching new clients?
- How do you best make use of your time spent marketing?
These business development meetings are an opportunity for CAOS practitioners to come together, share ideas and network and learn from each other as well as develop new ideas for taking their business forward and, where mutually beneficial create a supportive network to assist each other.
Mediation Business Development Support - the CAOS Approach:
As with all of our events our Mediation Business Development sessions are interactive and exploratory. There are no 'speakers' who simply present their 'formula' that may or may not work for others. Instead they are creative opportunities to work with other CAOS practitioners facing similar challenges and to learn from each other, both from our successes and our mistakes.
